bfcache helps speed up navigations to sites that have recently been visited, but it can be invalidated by client-side code execution. It appears that hCaptcha is using a “SharedWorkerWithNoActiveClient” which invalidates the bfcache. Steps to reproduce: Navigate to a page using hCaptcha Open Inspect Element -> Application -> Back/forward cache Click “Test back/forward cache” (It can also be identified in a Lighthouse report, listed as “Page prevented back/forward cache restoration”) The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link] Dev Tools reports the problem with the https://newassets.hcaptcha.com/captcha/v1/e7d4188bff735fa67caffa64923b234616a10414/static/hcaptcha.html… ; The WordPress plugin uses hCaptcha assets form the hcaptcha.com site as is. I do not have access to these scripts. Please address your question to the hCaptcha support team: https://www.hcaptcha.com/contact-us .
