Good day, I tried setting up the plugin, but unfortunately it doesn’t fetch the data from Google Maps. It always says “ Google API Error ” and asks me to enter an API key, but the API key is already there and correct. I also use your plugin for Google reviews (Reviews and Ratings), so when I installed “We’re Open!”, the API key was already entered into “We’re Open!”‘s settings. However, it can’t fetch data from Google. “Reviews and Ratings” on the other hand can fetch data from Google perfectly fine, with the same API key. Any ideas? I figured it out. “Reviews and Ratings” works with the Places API, while “We’re Open!” works with the Places API (New). The link in the error message pointed me to the Places API (without new!) though, that’s why I thought it was already activated. After activating the Places API (New), everything works 🙂
