supportHello, This started since the upgrade to Elementor 3.27. The glider elements can be changed with buttons but this is broken. I waited one week in case the updates of the last days would resolve it but they haven’t. Is this a known issue that can be easily fixed on my side please? Error on click Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'transition') at V.setTransition (swiper.min.js?ver=8.4.5:13:51641) at V.slideTo (swiper.min.js?ver=8.4.5:13:31973) at HTMLDivElement.<anonymous> ((index):2924:11075) at HTMLDivElement.dispatch (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:40035) at v.handle (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:38006) swiper.min.js/ver=8.4.5 transition: { setTransition: function(e, t) { const s = this; s.params.cssMode || s.$wrapperEl. transition (e), s.emit("setTransition", e, t) },
Hello @morepix This is Divyang from OoohBoi Steroids team. We are sorry for the inconvenience and delay in our response. We are unable to reproduce this error on our end. Could you please provide guidance on how to replicate the issue? Looking forward to your response. Best Regards.
Hello @divyangposimyth Thank you for looking into this. Demo URL & error info: https://pastebin.com/MByTXABr Our glider has multiple slides that we control via Elementor buttons. The glider specifies this functionality also in the backend. Control Glider externally! You can control this Glider instance from any link on this page by adding the custom class name to the link. Copy the text entirely and append the slide number to go to at the end. For instance: glider-NNNNNNN-gotoslide-3 This Glider control class: glider-65f6c7c7-gotoslide- In the past we used an attribute on the button but this does nothing anymore. Example: data-gotoslide|1 When I add the class glider-65f6c7c7-gotoslide-2 on the button of “Second Slide” as specified that error is generated. Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘transition’)
@morepix Thank you for the brief explanation. We appreciate your efforts. However, we are sorry for the confusion. We tried to set up and regenerate the issue but but were unable to do so. Can you please share a screen video with an explanation of the process you are following? You can use this Screen Recording Tool . Looking forward to your response. Thank you for your cooperation. Best Regards. This reply was modified 1 year, 2 months ago by Divyang Chaudhary .
@divyangposimyth Can you please share the configuration or export your test page? That way I can compare what is different. Will be quicker to find the root cause. The old video of 2020 has a link to examples but it’s no longer active. Thank you for sharing this. Your example uses transition type slide and this works with the integrated navigation. We use transition type fade and this does nothing via external buttons or generates the error. Even when I copy the settings from your Slide example slide I still get the JavaScript error on our glider. On one occasion the Glider control class name changed when modifying the Glider settings. This means that all external buttons need to be adjusted which is a p**n. It doesn’t happen on all changes. I’ll test more to see if I can find the root cause of this. Weird issue that is taking time on both sides. Thanks for your support.
@morepix The glider suddenly stopped working for me as well. The culprit turned out to be the Elementor review slider. They had always worked together, but after the OoohBoi plugin update, the glider stopped functioning. Do you also have a review slide, or other sliders, on the same page as your glider?
@fvanschaik No Elementor review slider. Sometimes we have multiple gliders on the same page. But even with one glider it doesn’t work anymore. We do have a gallery in each container of the gliders. I’m going to abandon this. I have spent so many hours debugging without finding the root cause.
@morepix I apologies for the delay in our response. Our team has understand the setup and working on the issue. However, this may take a long time. I kindly ask for your patience. Thank you for your understanding. Best Regards.
