I downloaded the zip file from GitHub but it will not install because it’s not in the right format of a plugin, the install says “The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.”. I suppose I’m doing something wrong, but not sure where to go from here. Ah, I found the plugin on the wordpress repository, but it says php 8 is the minimum level needed! My hosting is 7.4.33 What about it requires php v8? Hi @pzh20 Happy you found the way to install the plugin. It’s always easier to install directly from WordPress admin interface. The github is there for developpment purposes. The plugin requires PHP8.0 since it brought many security improvements. Besides that, it was released 3 years ago; I would advise you to contact your host and see if they offer PHP8. I guess they actually do.

Ah, I found the plugin on the wordpress repository, but it says php 8 is the minimum level needed! My hosting is 7.4.33 What about it requires php v8?

Hi @pzh20 Happy you found the way to install the plugin. It’s always easier to install directly from WordPress admin interface. The github is there for developpment purposes. The plugin requires PHP8.0 since it brought many security improvements. Besides that, it was released 3 years ago; I would advise you to contact your host and see if they offer PHP8. I guess they actually do.
