Hi! I’m getting a message when running site audit in Ahref about missing return links and also about x-default. Here’s the screenshots: https://ibb.co/y8mGvgk https://ibb.co/rMMmPJw What have I missed? Hello webkocken, Screenshot 1 hreflang should be added to all the alternate pages. Please see “hreflang error no return tags” on Google for additional information and examples. Screenshot 2 The use of x-default depends on the specific scenario. With the plugin you can find x-default as the first item listed in the “Language 1-10” selectors. Hi @daext ! So, if I understand it right, then I should add both hreflang to both sites if I have two sites? For instance, if I have a swedish site and an english site then I should add both sv-se and en-us to both pages? Like this: <link rel="alternate" href="https://www.lchfarkivet.se/recept/picklad-rodlok-utan-socker/" hreflang="sv-se" /><link rel="alternate" href="https://www.simplelowcarbrecipes.com/recipes/pickled-red-onions/" hreflang="en-us" /> Hello webkocken, yes, exactly. You can find this subject also in the Troubleshooting of the official Google documentation. See: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/specialty/international/localized-versions#troubleshooting
