C’mon guys….good plugin but get rid of that “leave us a review” nag banner. The only button on that banner that actually works is the “review” button. The others are dummy buttons. Please fix! This topic was modified 4 years, 4 months ago by J-Rod . If anyone else is reading this and wants to get rid of the nag banner, use FTP (or the WP plugin editor) to open /wp-content/plugins/responsive-sliding-menu/admin/class-responsive-sliding-menu-admin.php Delete lines 158 through 171. Save the file. That will get rid of the banner entirely. !!! THIS IS ONLY CONFIRMED FOR PLUGIN VERSION 1.4.2! IT MAY NOT WORK IN OTHER VERSIONS OF THE PLUGIN! We’re very sorry to read you had a bad experience with our plugin. The “Nope, I don’t want to help” button should leave you in peace for a while (info stored in a cookie). If it doesn’t, then we shall fix this bug in a near future. Anyway, you should not edit files directly from the plugin folder as your changes might disapear after the next plugin update. Best, Lekcie And 1 star is a bit harsh :'( I agree. One star is definitely harsh. You caught me on a bad day--lots of stuff going wrong and the fact that the nag banner absolutely would not close made me lose my mind. I'll edit my review to 4 stars. I'm sorry about my initial reaction. I should have handled that better. Now...to fix it... I'm on MacOS 12.1 using Firefox 96.0--both updated to the latest versions. The "Leave a Review" button works properly. The "Maybe Later" button does nothing. The "Nope, I don't want to help :(" link just reloads the page. See this screen recording: https://ufile.io/4p6oqj8g (file will expire on 09 Feb 2022) In recent months, Firefox has been adding all sorts of behind-the-scenes privacy features. Perhaps their blocking cookies in some way. I don't know this for sure and I haven't tested in other browsers...just my first thought. Please fix. Thank you, and again I'm sorry about flying off the handle. Hi @j-rod , Thanks for your explanation 🙂 We’ll fix this bug on our next release See you soon!
