I’m missing support for passkeys in the frontend, such as a Gutenberg block or a shortcode. Do you have any plans for something like that in the near future? That’s a good idea. Are you using a custom login form? Essentially I’m using three plugins on my site. 1. “Frontend Admin” to create/edit Forms from the frontend 2. “Simple Membership” for membership functionality, including a custom login form (username/password) 3. “wp-webauthn” for creation, logon and managing passkeys Unfortunately, the wp-webauthn plugin is no longer available due to security issues https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-webauthn/ and it seems that the plugin is outdated (last updated one year ago). I tested several passkey plugins (there are only just a few of them). The wp-webauthn plugin is the only one that meets my requirements: 1. the “Simple Membership” plugin recognizes the logon over the passkey plugin 2. the passkey plugin provides support from the frontend like a Gutenberg block or a shortcode as I mentioned above (shortcode or widget for Elementor would be nice to have, but not necessary) If you are interested, I have reduced my original site to reflect the essentials and translated it from german as my native language to englisch. Additionally I could grant you administrator access to it’s backend. Could you provide your private e-mail for further information and discussion. Thanks in advance Kind Regards, Frank Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch. 🙂 Meine E-Mail-Adresse ist me@adamgreenwell.com . Would it make sense for a shortcode to render the entire login form? Something like: [guarddog loginform social_login=”true” passkey_auth=”true”]
