Front-end not showing reordering in the backend

I see a couple of Support requests for this issue, but the responses from [ deleted, please do not abuse the notification system ] were not replied to, so I wondered if we could see this issue through to resolution. 🙂 On other posts, [ deleted, please do not abuse the notification system ] mentioned turning off all other Plugins and using a WP default theme to see if it was any of those things. I did that on the page in question, and the order was not changed. I only have 2 posts on the page in question, and simply switched their order — nothing changed, not even after clearing all caches.
