supportIn versions 3.5.6 and 3.5.7 when used in a text or code block in a sidebar in the AVADA builder, php 8.3, the next/previous buttons don’t show, and the layout formatting / margins are out. This issue has not occurred before. Currently it’s a shortcode contained in a code block. This is a sidebar library element, which appears on several other pages – all have the problem. 3.5.7 fixed the same issue on another site using php 7.4, but that was not built with AVADA. TESTING Use shortcode in a normal text block – no difference Clear caches/css/js – no difference Making the column full width – does not fix Rearranging the other elements in the sidebar – does not fix Remove all elements other than calendar element – does not fix Add another copy of the shortcode to THE SAME PAGE (body, not sidebar), then it shows on the main part of the page and sidebar, AND BOTH ARE SHOWN OK. If the same calendar shortcode used elsewhere on the same site, the problem does not seem to occur e.g. https://www.londonforum.org.uk/ (bottom of page), and https://www.londonforum.org.uk/diary . Found the same problem, easy and quick workaround is to use a regular text-block in Avada and past the shortcode there, then it should work fine.
I had the shortcode in a text block on it’s own originally, unfortunately that doesn’t help.
Hi there, Our team are looking into this issue. We will keep you posted as soon as there are findings on our end. Kindly bear with us in the meantime. Regards
The latest release (3.5.8) which is stated to correct the problem with AVADA, unfortunately hasn’t worked for me on the above referenced post (OP).
Hi there, About the matter here, I do not seem to replicate the issue on my testing end anymore. Kindly try clearing your site cache and check the output once again. We will also be releasing a new update soon which you can use to check once released. Let us know how it goes. Kind Regards
Hi there. I’ve cleared all caches and JS/CSS etc, still the same problem. Also same if I just put the shortcut in a sidebar on its own. If I revert the version to 3.5.5 it is immediately OK again.
Hi there, Thanks for the update. In this case, we have released an update addressing this issue. Kindly update the plugin to version 3.5.9. Thanks for your patience. Kind Regards
Great thanks, that’s fixed it
Hi there, I’m glad to hear that. Please feel free to open a new topic in case of any questions. Kind Regards
