Form does not submit

I have tried multiple configurations but no matter what I do, when I click the “send” button to submit the form, I getting a spinning wheel to the right of the send button. What is interesting is when I use the contact form 7 shortcode, I get the same issue when this plugin is enabled. If I disable this plugin (without changing any code) then the issue disappears. I beleive the form is being validated because and incorrectly formatted email address returns an error. Any suggestions? I have the exact same issue. Trying to get it fixed for over a day.
