A lot of my sites did an auto update last week on the 15th or 16th to wordpress 6.8.2. ALL have your plugin installed and auto updates disabled. What happened?!?! Hi, Can you take a screenshot of your General tab and your Logs? Is there a private way to send that? The interesting thing is the update isn’t in the log like the last one I did. I did some theorizing and some digging today…. I posted my thoughts on this topic as well. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/forced-wordpress-core-update-6-8-2 After some digging I found this ticket for wordpress 6.8.1. https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/62718 This changed something with the autoupdate functionality. That change possibly allowed the autoupdate to run when 6.8.2 was released on 7.15. And maybe that bypassed Easy Updates Manager that was supposed to prevent this. Hi, I don’t think this is the same issue. You can confirm this by checking your php error logs. If the update is not in the log then the update has not been done from within your WP site (or by the plugin) I know that Go Daddy have a bit of a reputation for removing plugins/forcing updates so it could be them. I have the same version number number as you are reporting: https://snipboard.io/nCO4sx.jpg When I update it shows in the logs https://snipboard.io/kwR3gW.jpg Only one of the sites effected is hosted on godaddy. The rest are on my own server and there is nothing on it that would have updated these sites. The updates also seem to be limited to only sites with compatible plugins. I have tried to replicate this on multiple sites and cannot. This update was not done via EUM so it must be some setting on your hosting or someone with access to you hosting. Whenever an update, either manual or scheduled is made using the plugin. Even if you update via the updates section of your site, there will always be a entry in the log.
