The plugin was automatically installed and activated without our consent. We never requested it. As a result, the entire website became unavailable with an HTTP 500 error due to a PHP compatibility issue introduced by the plugin. We noticed this after a few hours. Website owners should remain in control of what is installed and activated on their systems. It is not the hosting provider’s role to decide which plugins should be added or enabled on a customer’s website, especially when such changes can cause service disruptions and for trivial features no one asked for.
