Hi (first excuse my poor english). I’m trying to display an rss feed with Rss Feed Widget. The feed i try to display is a news feed from a well known french newspaper. The feed seems to be read correctly in an online players like feedbucket or in rss app. The widget work correctly with other rss feeds, so it seems to be a problem specialy with this feed. here is the feed https://www.ouest-france.fr/rss-en-continu.xml?tid=75941 Can you help me to solve this issue ? Thank you so much. You can see the widget in this test page ( https://www.kartcenter56.fr/test/ ) In this case, the widget is used directly in a page with “amr shortcode any widget” extension, but it’s ok with some other rss feeds. Did you get it work? Hi, No unfortunately. I guess it’s a pb related to the feed i trying to display :’-( yet strangely this flow works in others rss viewers pb means? Did you mean buddypress? Hi. Sorry i don’t understand your question :-: My pb is that this feed ( https://www.ouest-france.fr/rss-en-continu.xml?tid=75941 ) don’t display anything with the plugin. However this feed work with other rss players. JJ Ok, i will check your feed url in my WP. Thank you very much 🙂 JJ This is what i found in troubleshooting process, hopefully i will respond you soon with a new version. So when you will see a new version, simply check changelog and i will mention about this issue with force_feed. A feed could not be found at https://www.ouest-france.fr/rss-en-continu.xml?tid=75941&t=1543867662 . A feed with an invalid mime type may fall victim to this error, or SimplePie was unable to auto-discover it. Use force_feed() if you are certain this URL is a real feed. Have a look here, https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ouest-france.fr%2Frss-en-continu.xml%3Ftid%3D75941 I tried to use force_feed but didn’t work so your feed requires some makeup. Hi. Thank you for your efforts. I will contact the producer of feed to report the problem. Sorry for bothering you :-s And thank you again. JJ No problem, i am always available to help and to improve my plugin.
