Feature request: support for WebP banners

First of all, thank you for the great work and for making this plugin available. However, I’m currently experiencing an issue: it seems that banner images in WebP format are not being recognized or supported by the plugin. Would it be possible to consider adding support for WebP banners in a future update? Thank you in advance for your help.
