supportHi Webreact, Yesterday we noticed that one of our website was generating a lot of warnings coming from the HelloDialog plugin. We use the shortcode option on this site, and got the following warning: [Thu Jan 04 18:47:21.635015 2024] ‘PHP message: PHP Warning: foreach() argument must be of type array|object, null given in [SERVER_PATH]/plugins/hellodialog/shortcodes/shortcode.php on line 174’ Because of the huge amount of these warnings, our logs actually clogged op the server which resulted in some downtime. For the time being we had to disable te plugin, after which the site worked fine again. Today we also activated the plugin again, but the warnings also seem te be gone. Is this something you guys might have seen before? We are on the latest version of the plugin, running PHP8.2 on the server. Thanks in advance for your time! Hi Bastiaan, Thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear about the downtime! We’re not aware of this issue and haven’t seen it happening before. The line you’re referring to takes the API response from Hellodialog and handles it further. It’s likely that the problem occurred due to a communication problem with Hellodialog’s API. Perhaps there was an incident on their end? We’ll implement a fix for this so the next time an incident like this will happen it won’t clog up your servers logs. Expect the fix in the future in the form of a plug-in update!

Hi Bastiaan, We’re currently in communication with Heallodialog (as this plug-in was created on their behalf) to roll out a new update. As soon as we get the go-ahead we’ll roll it out. Unfortunately at this time I cannot give you an ETA, however, you could always contact Hellodialog directly to obtain more information about the ETA!
