supportI’ve been trouble shooting different things but am still receiving this error code: Failed to create/update post: Plugin [1828] not authorized to access Install [1]. I’ve disconnected, deactivated and I have owner access.
Hi @trevhfb ! The error likely means there is something tampering with/bypassing the Freemius licensing system on your website. This will cause trouble – even on the free version of the plugin – as the plugin backend will try to validate the license when creating a post. Can you check the Post to GMB > Account page, and see if there are account details there that you don’t recognize? If you do have a license for the premium version, please follow up by emailing me at koen@tycoonwp.com , as the wp.org forums are only intended for support of the free version of the plugin. ~ Koen
Everything in the account page looks normal. Version is 3.4.4 (Free Version) Plan: Professional Plan
Hi @trevhfb , So are you on a paid subscription for the Professional plan? If so, please contact me through the “Contact us” page within the plugin, or directly at koen@tycoonwp.com for further assistance. If you’ve just downloaded the free version and have no paid subscription, it shouldn’t be saying “Professional” in the Plan column. In that case you can try the following things (in this order): In Post to GMB > Account, try pressing the “Deactivate License” button and see if it reverts the plan back to “Free” Reinstall the plugin. Download the latest version from here and go to Plugins > Add New > Upload plugin, and replace the installed version with the downloaded one. As a last resort, run the “Freemius fixer” plugin. This will delete all Freemius license related data from the site (for any plugin that uses Freemius, so they will also need to be reactivated if you have a license for them). Hit “Download data”, and email me the file for analysis. I’ve seen this issue happen to a user before, and after some back-and-forth, it turned out that their web developer had installed a nulled version of a different plugin using Freemius. But that indirectly messed with the free version of the Post to GMB plugin. ~ Koen
