Fail2Ban CRASHES wp-cron

I am posting here because your new forum@ invis.net won’t let me post (after joining) Fail2Ban causes FATAL ERROR in WP-Cron, IE. wp-cron CRASHES and stops working. Thank you Mr @Lecklider Clemens @barefootwarrior – do you have the WP fail2ban Gravity Forms add-on active? Version 1.3.1 was crashing wp-cron for us (using 4.4.0.4 of WPfail2ban). Deactivating this and leaving the main plugin active restored wp-cron functionality.
