I don’t understand why it changes external links from http to https. This has nothing to do with onsite security and does not influence if your browser gives you green light or not. Some sites still don’t have SSL, so I won’t be able to link to them any more. Am I missing something? Thank you, Michael Plugin is good. But it needs to leave external links unchangeble… I just noticed this external links problem and it effects the google ranking of pages with external links, many of which cause errors. It also looks bad to users who follow links of interest to see that some other external site has privacy and security issues, simply because this plugin forces the https on the links. I see it has been an issue for some years according to the support pages and no one has ever gotten a reply from support. I am saddened. This is miserable. I am worried about turning it off too as many posts say that that also causes issues. I have the same issue. It’s unclear why it happens, didn’t received such an issue previously. That’s make the plugin unusable 🙁
