supportI have tried to add the download links (PDFs and EPUBs) from google drive and one drive and in both platforms the download does not work. When I click on the permanent link it downloads a “file” without formatting. thats the file link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rl511GWZNg8SvzgCcRoKvg-UXq7MP8NK/view?usp=sharing screenshot in lana manager: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ae7KzG47HYTQe35xvq0UPFycvrl2Csw5/view?usp=sharing and this is the file that downloads: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fytvFBpL1CH04ab8XT40EQVMmBLF9Nga/view?usp=sharing Can you tell me what am I doing wrong? or what storage services does it work with?
The problem is that you’re trying to use the “view” Google Drive link. However, the download manager needs the “direct download” Google Drive link. Google Drive “view” link structure: https://drive.google.com/file/d/{FILE_ID}/view Google Drive “direct download” link structure: https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id={FILE_ID} So you use this link in the download manager: https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=1rl511GWZNg8SvzgCcRoKvg-UXq7MP8NK If you need more help, feel free to contact me.
I have tried with that link but the permalink directs me to an empty page. https://nextnovels.com/download/7736/ This reply was modified 3 years, 11 months ago by zeijou .
i don’t know what happened… but now it works… tnks
There is a separate post type permalink (which leads to a description of the post if this is enabled in the settings) and there is a separate download permalink. But I see the download is now working on your website. So you are using the right link.
