I have exported a custom menu from site A and tried to import it into site B. All I get is the error message «Error in processing!». I am running WordPress v5.4.2 and Export Import Menus v1.5.0. Hi @martinsauter , The import must be done on the same website from which you exported the JSON file (Same domain) else the import will not work as the posts and their Post ID which is on A website it’s not required that the same posts is available on B website also. Can you please try the export and import feature on the same website and let me know if there is any issue so that i can look into it and sort it out. Thanks, Akshay Menariya Hi @akshay-menariya Thank you for your clarification. My idea was to build a custom menu which contains only individual links (just URLs, no references to posts) and export it into another WordPress install. If this is not possible, then we don’t need to test this further. But if you can import the exported menu only into the same WordPress installation: Why would you do that? What’s the use case? Cheers, Martin This reply was modified 5 years, 9 months ago by Martin Sauter . Reason: Additional question added Hi @martinsauter , The primary purpose of this plugin is to provide Backup with export and import feature with large number of menu items with multiple configuration like Uber menus and Mega menu. If you only have a URLs then it will definitely work with other website as well. Can you please disable all other plugins and check if it works. Might be some other plugin is conflicting the AJAX. Thanks, Akshay Menariya Hi @martinsauter , Can you please send me your Skype Id so that we can connect and i can understand the issues easily and proceed further.
