supportHello MailPoet team, I am using the MailPoet Sending Service. Recently my newsletters stopped sending with the error “Email service is temporarily not available”. I realized it was a domain authentication issue, so I just added all 4 required DNS records (2 CNAMEs, 2 TXTs including DMARC) via my DNS provider (Cafe24). Now, under my MailPoet.com account -> My Sender Domains, my domain is completely Verified with a green checkmark. However, inside my WordPress dashboard, whenever I try to send a preview or a newsletter, the sending queue immediately freezes at 0/1 and doesn’t progress at all. Under MailPoet -> Help -> System Status, the Last seen error shows: “Sending is waiting to be retried.” It seems like my account or sending pipeline is still locked/frozen on your server side even though the domain verification is 100% complete. Could you please check my account status and manually refresh/unfreeze my sending API pipeline on your backend? My registered domain is: odbkorea.org Thank you! The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link]
Hi @sauge Thanks for reaching out and for the detailed description of what you’ve done so far — it’s really helpful! Great job completing the domain authentication with all 4 DNS records. That was an important step. The error “Sending is waiting to be retried” combined with the queue freezing at 0/1 suggests there may be something else going on beyond the domain verification itself. To help narrow this down, could you try these steps and share the results? 1. Re-validate your MailPoet key Go to MailPoet → Settings → Key Activation and click the “Validate” button. This refreshes the connection to our sending service and can sometimes clear stuck states after a configuration change. More info: Sending Does Not Work – Key Activation Issues 2. Check your Task Scheduler connection Go to MailPoet → Help → System Status and check the Task Scheduler section. Is it showing “Connection successful” or “Connection unsuccessful”? If you can share a screenshot of the full System Status page, that would be very helpful. 3. Check for any notices on the MailPoet Emails page Go to MailPoet → Emails in your WordPress dashboard. Do you see any banner or notice at the top about sending being paused or suspended? What Happens When Sending is Paused Please share back the results of these three checks and we can go from there!
Hi nathvi, Thank you for the quick response! Here are the results of the three checks you requested: Re-validate MailPoet key: Yes, I already did this. I temporarily changed it to another key to clear the session, and then re-entered and re-validated my main MailPoet key. The key is currently active and validated, but the error persists. Task Scheduler Connection: The Task Scheduler section clearly shows “Connection successful” with a green bar. The Cron status is running, but it keeps showing the error log: “Sending is waiting to be retried.” Notices on the MailPoet Emails page: There are absolutely no banners, notices, or warnings about my account being paused or suspended at the top of the Emails page. When I manually triggered a newsletter, it simply stuck at 0/1 (0%) with a “Resume” button, and no mail went out. Since all system connections (Ping-Pong) are successful, the domain is 100% verified, and there is no suspension notice, it really seems like a stuck state or a sync issue on the MailPoet backend API for my legacy account. Could you please pass this to your technical team to manually check and unfreeze my sending pipeline from your server side? Thank you!
