So with all the short lived version of WP and now a few updates to Buddy Press using Nouveau, many plugins will not work fully. Test a plugin first step: change to Buddypress to legacy theme. Buddypress edit activity features: Works with text posts and text post with embedded links. Does not work with media attached, such as those used with Mediapressd.
