edit activity shows html code when editing comments

Hi, I use rtMedia to upload images, and they add some html styling to posts and comments. However, editing comments means you get to see the code as well as the comment text, which makes it difficult for users, especially on mobile devices. I discussed this with rtMedia and they said that while they insert some additional html code for styling but that the display of the code is driven by “BuddyPress Edit Activity” Is there anyway we can limit the edit function to display the comment text only? Just an incidental question at this stage, do you have any plans to make the comments collapsible at all? We’re just in a beta phase at present, only went live a month ago, but there are several thousand users waiting to join, and I’m trying to make the activity streams as compact as possible to provide a good user experience (adding a dual column desktop view shortly). You can check for some plugins under WordPress repository that provides such functionality or check on BuddyPress forum 🙂 Here what I can do is, I can add this as a feature request to our developer team 🙂 Regards Thank you, I’d prefer not to change the comments system at this stage, so we’ll keep using this one and if you do decide to do that development let me know 🙂 (we’ve only been live a month or so but the comment activity has been quite steady.) We are doing well, there’s a lot of changes on the site planned for the next month, a move to AWS, and then we can start to let the few thousand members waiting to come on board start to register.
