supportHi – I recently created a menu for different external links (Terrazzo Associations) by state. When the user selects their state, they’re taken to the appropriate association website. This works fine on desktop, but the links don’t work on mobile. I wasn’t able to find any errors in the console. Any suggestions? The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link]
hi @hayleythehailstorm thanks for contacting me. O’Neill check this out tomorrow on my desktop/laptop as I only have mobile right now. I did see what you mean but I didn’t see even the dropdown value change when I select a state, so I am not sure what the issue is. I did see it work on other sites on mobile, so it might be some other JavaScript interfering.. To be continued. kind regards, Jeroen Peters
hi @hayleythehailstorm , did you test in iOS only? I did test it in iOS only and it seems like there is a Safari limitation. I might be able to work around this. Kind regards, Jeroen

Sorry, replied days ago via email but I guess it never posted. iOS is the OS where I noticed the issue, yes. I did disable other plugins on the site and did not notice a change (still does not open the tab or in the same window, display what state is selected, etc)

Hmm I see it didn’t work as expected, but I did find a way to debug with my own iPhone, so again.. to be continued!
hi @hayleythehailstorm I have tried lots of things, even till I hit rock bottom with dirty hacks but to no avail. I think the only way to go for iOS is to always open the links in the current window and place a disclaimer about that in the frequently asked questions. The iOS devs are too good at blocking this behaviour, which I get because it can also be used to open spam-sites and unwanted popups. Kind regards, Jeroen Peters

@hayleythehailstorm I see the website you gave me earlier is already updated to the new version. The solutions works nicely in the sense that the users get redirected to the appropriate site. Do you think this is an OK solution, considering it wouldn’t work otherwise? Kind regards, Jeroen Peters P.S.: Replying per e-mail doesnt seem to work anymore haha
