Is this supposed to work with self hosted website? It isn’t working at all. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/personal-email/ So, just to clarify, when WordPress sends an email, it is sent with the wordpress@yourdomain.com address instead of the admin email address in Settings > General? Any update on this? It was sent with *****@hostingcompany.com I used Mandrill to get the solution I was looking for. Thanks for your time. This would be an issue with your hosting company. Neither WordPress nor this plugin can fix this.

So, just to clarify, when WordPress sends an email, it is sent with the wordpress@yourdomain.com address instead of the admin email address in Settings > General?

This would be an issue with your hosting company. Neither WordPress nor this plugin can fix this.
