My custom post types are showing up fine, but when i select ‘save’ after specifying the roles that should have the capabilities, it doesn’t save the entries. either that or it saves but doesn’t update the admin page properly. either or, doesn’t seem to work properly (at least for me). great idea though – any ideas why it wouldn’t save the settings? I’m specifically using it in conjunction with the s2member roles looking on the plugin’s official page seems to indicate that I’m not the only person having issues with saving settings in this plugin. note that I tried the plugin with and without the s2member plugin without success. basically I have a number of custom post types with their capabilities defined – and just need a mechanism to define a role and assign the capabilities to that role. doesn’t seem like it should be that hard, but it’s hitting the bottom of the wordpress knowledgebase unfortunately it seems. anyone with tips / tricks on how to get this done without relying on a plugin?
