supportJust trying this on an Elementor site because they don’t support Safari pre IOS14 on the iPad. Still have lots of clients using those as it’s not really that old. Elementor menus and sliders just don’t display at all. This plugin would be really useful to catch all the older browsers but nothing shows up unless I activate the test option which then tells me I’m using IOS 10.3. Or have I missed something…..?
Don’t know if you missed something. The plug-in is really simple and isn’t dependent on other plugins. I would say it doesn’t affect Elementor but don’t have empirical values. Have you got in touch with the Elementor folks? What do they say?
Thanks for the rapid reply. Elementor support is really poor concerning other plugins. I’ll give them a try but don’t have high hopes….. Strange that I can only get the warning displayed when I turn on the test option. I’ll come back with anything else I find.
Reply from Elementor basically says they have no way of identifying older browsers and suggest I contact you! Typical and exactly what I expected. Looks like I’ll need to do a bit more work myself so can I ask you what happens differently when I select the test option? (The message shows immediately when I do this so it must be something to do with the detection code rather than Elementor blocking the display.)
The test option ignores the user’s browser version (it won’t be called through the script) and throws the message without condition.
