Luckily I installed this plugin on one of my test sites…Now I cannot access my site – re-install required. Stay away…unless resolved, I will gladly change my rating. Sorry to hear your experience. Can you please share the testing site’s url so that I can check whats the issue? Do you see any error message? Which theme was active when the plugin was activated? Which plugins were active when plugin was activated? which version of WordPress and WooCommerce was then? This reply was modified 7 years ago by Zakir Sajib . This reply was modified 7 years ago by Zakir Sajib . Hey, Here is the problem… 1. Front end….still available, displaying content as it should. 2. Back-end (Admin Dashboard) – I cannot access at all. This means I will have to either restore to my last backup or completely re-do the site. The fact that I cannot access my admin dashboard…your plugin broke my site… Should you have an update, I would gladly test this on another test site I have already setup Which theme you are using? This plugin is tested with TwentyTwelve to TwentyNineteen, storefront theme and other woo themes. So I am just wondering which particular theme you are using? And also what are the woo plugins you have installed? Quick note if site can’t access: You don’t need to restore , Just rename or delete the plugin from FTP if its broke your site. Astra Astra Starter Sites Elementor Contact Form 7 iThemes Security WooCommerce WP Mail SMTP WPS Hide Login –yeah, forgot to include the 3rd option… Ok Good. Do you have staging or testing site? If yes can you deactivate all these plugins and then activate my plugin? Just keep WooCommerce active. I am thinking iThemes Security is the main culprit here. But deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce. This reply was modified 7 years ago by Zakir Sajib . If works then activate each plugin one by one. this way you will find out which plugin is conflicting with my plugin so that I can work on that and release the newer version by fixing it. iThemes and Astra Starter sites…crashes (each one tested individually) I am hoping to use this one my wholesale site I am busing setting up…and this has a whole lot more plugins…when you have released a newer version, tested with the latest WP build, I will gladly give it a try… Sure. And I could be removing allot more plugins and in place of yours… Yes thats good start. You don’t need a security plugin, instead use Cloudflare for caching and security and many more features. I will inspect the Astra Starter theme. I am not familiar with this theme. But will update my code in few days. Thank for your cooperation. This is for a non-profit organisation so using free plugins is the only route right now…and security is a must. the number of attempted hacks is ridiculous and iThemes has saved my butt in… Astra Starter Sites has saved me countless hours, and I have used it on all my sites…. Ok I understand. but my recommendation for security would be from server level instead of using plugin. Your hosting can provide security or use cloudflare. An Extra plugin creates extra overhead on your resources. But anyways its your call. Agree with you…but will be able to make that call once the site is fully operational…and testing complete…and then get the client to find a sponsor. Plugin is fixed. Please use it if needed.
