supportJust installed, but my WordPress crash with url message while try to open plugin setting.
Hi @centoasa On the plugin page, if you take a look at the ‘live preview’ link as shown in the screenshot https://prnt.sc/DQn8MMLHr2WX The plugin is installed with the latest wp version 6.7.1 and it works just fine https://prnt.sc/7z5ENstSK-XQ Could you please add screenshots or error logs of the error you are running into so I can have a look.
see my screenshot: https://share.nmblc.cloud/e6bfd29d A critical error has occurred on this site. Check your site administrator’s inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, try the support forums. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress. No error log on my hosting
Hi @centoasa Does this only occur when the plugin is active on the website? If you could also turn on WP_DEBUG so it outputs the specific error, that would help to troubleshoot better. You can use the guide here https://wpforms.com/developers/how-to-enable-debugging-in-wordpress/ and you can also get in touch with your hosting company to assist you. If you can provide a log for me to have a look at, I can try to trace the issue and see if it’s a problem in the plugin to be fixed. Thanks.
issue occur only when active. here the log: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/2bpi8xc2orfrk15u8pm3y/debug.log?rlkey=3vdrco7rteuhfptstx5ak3s9a&st=ddkkmokx&dl=0
Hi @centoasa If it occurs when the plugin is active, it’s most likely due to some conflict. Unfortunately, the attached log doesn’t show any fatal error messages and does not have any logs of the plugin itself so it’s a bit difficult to trace the issue you are facing. With the debug enabled, does the website show any errors when you visit it now? And is this error happening on a specific page or across the whole website?
the site works perfectly, both front and back. The problem occurs only when I try to enter the settings of your plugin
Ok got it @centoasa When you visit the plugin settings page with the debug set to true, does it show any additional error message please? And not just the ‘A critical error has occurred on this site. Check your site administrator’s inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, try the support forums.’ message. If you could also check your admin email if it sends you the specific error as this is what will help to resolve the issue. Thank you.
I don’t see any other errors anywhere and I don’t even get the wordpress email for the error

That’s really strange and i’m not sure what might be going on with it @centoasa Do you have a staging site you can use for debugging? It can be useful to try disabling all the plugins on the site and activate them one by one with this plugin set to active and see where the conflict is. I’m happy to help but need to see a specific problem/error message relating to the plugin itself for me to pin point what needs to be fixed if it’s with the plugin.
I actually tried it on another website of mine and it works perfectly! I’ll try it on this one using a stagin space! I’ll keep you posted! Thanks a lot @temak
Ok sure, no problem at all @centoasa Let me know how that goes and I find work on a fix once we’re able to trace the issue.
Just FYI, we also have this error on our website at InhouseBlog.com – we don’t know if it is coming from this plugin and we have it running on another site without this error. But like this nothing shows in the logs. It arose I think a few weeks ago (if that helps identify timing of updates to the plugin that may have occurred). The site continues to work fine. We’ll try turning it off and on over the weekend and see if that removes the error.
Hi @albie2011 Sorry to hear you’re experiencing some issues with it on your site too. If you could please try debugging on a staging site as well to see if you can find any conflicts or a specific error message relating to the plugin, that would be really helpful. Once you find the specific error with the plugin on your site, please open a new support ticket with the details and I will resolve it as quickly as I can. Thanks.
