review · 1 starsThis plugin removed a whole host of my posts! Lost tons of content. Now going through all the stress of trying to get them through a backup, hopefully. AVOID! Garbage.
Hi, The plugin does not delete any content . It merely excludes posts from view on the homepage. Please feel free to take a look at the source code which only consists of a couple of lines of code: https://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/avoid-duplicate-posts/trunk/index.php You can see that there is nothing in it that could have possibly caused this issue. If posts on your site were removed, we can tell with 100% confidence that our plugin is not the culprit. We would really appreciate if you considered changing the rating you left as it seems unjustified. Thank you.
I have to concur, looking at the code, that this should not be deleting anything. Can you perhaps explain what you did that caused content loss? Did you just enable the plugin and boom, things disappeared?

No. While this should have been a support ticket, we don’t delete these. It may still be a weird bug with your plugin and something else. You’ve done your best to try and get more information. the OP never came back. That’s okay. Also stop tagging your posts for mods to look. We’re leaving these alone.
