a few days after purchasing Rank Math SEO “PRO”, I was charged for a subscription to “Content AI Starter”, which I never subscribed to. I might have clicked once on a “Content AI” field (by mistake, as I use Claude for that) while editing a page. Was that enough to “subscribe”, really? That is totally unacceptable commercial practice. This topic was modified 1 day ago by enersens . a few days after purchasing Rank Math SEO “PRO”, I was charged for a subscription to “Content AI Starter”, which I never subscribed to. EDIT: It appears it’s “a free trial”, of undocumented duration or price. And this rogue subscription is cleverly hidden in a separate tab in their dashboard. Rank Math support tells me I should have received an email about the end of trial. I never received this email. Bottom line: it’s not “poor UX” or an accident, but a well calculated SCAM. Hello @enersens , Thank you for sharing your feedback. To clarify, the Rank Math PRO pricing page clearly mentions that the plan includes a 15-day trial of Content AI. The trial is disclosed during the purchase process and is not intended to be hidden or activated without notice. We understand your concern regarding the charge after the trial period, especially if you did not receive the trial expiration email. If the notification email did not reach your inbox, we can certainly understand how the renewal may have been unexpected. Please contact our Accounts team at support@rankmath.com using the email address associated with your Rank Math account. We’ll review the charge and, if the Content AI subscription was not something you intended to continue, we’ll be happy to assist you with a refund. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to make this right.
