Customiser (Customizer) would not work until I disabled the Apester plug-in. I tried a few others beforehand with no change. Disabled Apester and it worked again. This was following advice from this page: https://www.mhthemes.com/support/theme-customizer-not-working/#theme-customizer-not-working
