Been using a calendar made for developers (not mortals like most of us), on my website for 10+ years. Looking for a friendlier engine. EVERYTHING about the present calendar is in css. The site itself is location specific where each venue (location) has its own page. Posts are taken at the individual page. It is a tool for finding venue (location) information, including events, but no tickets are sold and no appointments made. The events themselves are pay-to-play. Can EPrime work with existing locations (venues) database? If so, how? Can it enter new locations and their data? How about event categories? Can it be the engine for the whole site calendar? Can it work work side by side with the present calendar? Is there a function (or tool) that allows event entry by the user from the web? How about the look and feel especially the Main Calendar? The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link] Correction: Is there a function (or tool) that allows event entry by the user from the web without login or having an account? Hi @strikesrule , We have reviewed your current setup and are pleased to share that EventPrime offers a modern and highly customizable event management experience, including flexible designs and views, an impressive range of global settings, and additional entities such as organizers, performers, sponsors, and more — each with an extensive feature set. As for the existing locations (venues) database, the WordPress.org forum guidelines allow us to support only the features included in the standard plugin. The functionality you’re describing would require a custom implementation, which falls outside the scope of this forum. If you’d like to discuss potential approaches or options, you can contact us directly via our plugin website, and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction. For event categories, EventPrime includes an “Event Types” taxonomy, which functions as event categories within the EventPrime ecosystem. EventPrime can absolutely serve as the primary engine for your site calendar. Since it operates within its own separate namespace/environment, it can also work side by side with your currently active calendar plugin without conflict. Additionally, EventPrime includes a Frontend Event Submission (FES) feature as part of the core offering. This allows site visitors to submit and create events directly from the frontend without requiring dashboard access. By enabling the “Guest Submissions” option within the FES form settings, users can even submit events without needing to create an account on the site. We highly encourage you to explore EventPrime Core along with its extensive collection of add-ons. If you require any additional information or assistance, please feel free to let us know — we are always happy to help! Followed your instructions. Tried multiple times. Your web says my email is spam: “We couldn’t deliver this message to Teams, because it was flagged by anti spam policies.” Hi @strikesrule , Thank you for sharing the error message. We have received your email and will investigate the issue further from our end. Thank you for the fast, succinct, replies. We are presently looking at many selections and options. When we started we didn’t count on so many possibilities. We will get back in touch with you if your product is chosen.
