supportI assume—unfortunately, I can’t find any documentation on this—that the text entered in “Custom llms.txt text” should appear in the ##Pages list for the respective entry after the URL after a :, but it doesn’t. When “Include post excerpts / meta descriptions” is selected, the content appears in the list as described above. However, a second list with ## Pages is also created in LLMs.txt, which only lists the META content. This does not seem to make sense. Even clearing the cache did not “remove” these entries. Should/can the LLMs.txt be deleted manually and then recreated? Where can I find the documentation in general? But apart from that, the plugin is great. The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link]
Hi @wsteindl , Thanks for your feedback — this has been addressed in version 8.2.0 . In this update, we’ve improved how the Custom LLMs.txt Text fields are handled and documented. Each section (Title, Description, After Description, End File Description) is now clearly defined and generated in the correct position within the llms.txt file. Additionally, we introduced a new LLMs.txt Reset feature in the settings panel. It allows you to safely delete outdated or duplicate files and rebuild a fresh version automatically — no manual removal required. Please update to v8.2.0 and regenerate your file — the custom text should now appear as expected. Best regards, LLMs Plugin Support Team
Yes, I am noticing that none of the Custom LLMS.txt Content are populating as well on a client site. Also for this site, I am seeing the initial Title line being duplicated multiple times for some of the text on the output file. If you need an example of what I am referring to you can see it here .
Hi @sayingitfirst Thanks for the update! Could you please confirm whether you’re using the filter apply_filters('llms_generator_get_post_meta_description', false, $post) This filter allows you to output custom content above the detailed page description. Also, have you tried regenerating the file using the “Delete and Recreate” button in the LLMs.txt Reset section on the plugin settings page? This ensures that cached data is cleared and the latest content is included. Best regards, LLMs Plugin Support Team
I haven’t applied any filters or modified the code in any way from the basic install of the plugin. I know the previous versions I have used on other sites have had no issues with “Custom LLMS.txt Content” fields working. Yes, I have cleared the cache and even done the LLMs.txt Reset for Delete and Recreate.
