Hi, is it possible to create a block that represents a short code? I tried to create just a text, but as it is only text within a DIV (or similar), it is not recognized as short code. What can I do? Hi Rob, thanks for your question. At first I thought you wanted to create a block and then insert it somewhere with a shortcode, but you mean the other way around, right? You want to create a block that contains a shortcode so that in the block editor you can just insert the block instead of the shortcode, right? Either would be an interesting feature. The former you could achieve yourself with some code, but the latter is unfortunately not possible at the moment. I have put both on my list, but don’t know when I can implement them. I’m sorry that I don’t have a solution for your specific requirements at the moment. Hi Helmut, thanks for your fast reply! You are right, I try to create a block that represents a short code (as I have some that are not a “short” codes…) – sorry if my question was ambiguous. It would be great to have this feature in your plugin but I understand that this may take a while or possibly cannot be achieved – never mind. Kind regards, Rob
