This version of Jssor slider crashed my WordPress site and I could not get into my WordPress site at all – it is completely down. Support is extremely poor – the developer not helping and just telling me oh just delete this or use FTP when I am a beginner trying to create websites and I don’t know what they are talking about. I think it’s a rubbish plugin and best avoided if you are a newbie using WordPress. As you are beginner, you may not know this is a problem comes from your end. You may encounter the same problem for updating other plugins. The detailed problem is that the file ‘class-jssor-slider-admin.php’ loses while you update. The workaround is to delete the folder and reinstall the plugin. I cannot even log into WordPress site, how to delete the folder and reinstall?? You have just repeated a suggestion which I already said it does not work! That is what I mean by poor support. The problem does not come from my end because the problematic file lies with Jssor sliders otherwise the error message will not contain a specific reference to the jssor slider. @eunicegoh I am very sorry for that. I noticed that we made a ridiculous mistake. It’s our fault then, and we fixed the bug in the new version 2.1.0. We separated php load related to functionalities. With the new version, it will not crash your site even there are some file lost while updating. Again, I apologize for your inconvenience. But now for the problem you encountered, you need a tool (Like FTP) to manage files on your server. Find and delete the folder ‘jssor-slider’, it is under ‘wp-content\plugins’. Your site will work after that. You can download a FTP software, use it to connect to your server, you can browser folders on your server with it. Btw, FTP software is useful for a webmaster.
