Pity as I liked the look of the plugin as I’d like a human readable sitemap but when I install and activate the plugin on my multisite (www.coresystemtrust.org.uk) it kills the site. If I deactivate site is fine again, reproducible. I’m on WP 5.9.1 and Simple Sitemap 3.5.5. I’ve never had a report of this happening before so it’s probably a conflict with other plugins installed on your site. I’d be happy to help debug this. A good starting point would be the PHP error logs.
