review · 1 starsAll the info (IP, User Agent, etc) can be easily grabbed using special tags included in Contact Form 7 plugin already: http://contactform7.com/special-mail-tags I needed country which is not working as it needs another plugin which is nowhere to be found.
Hi mahtar, We know that the information can be added with special tags in Contact Form 7. Our goal was to make a plugin that could be used and installed by people without technical knowledge. Many users of Contact Form 7 don’t know of the existence of the special tags and that’s why we packed everything in this plugin, including the country info. First we wrote the lookup with our own code, but then somebody directed us to the GeoIP Detection plugin which provided a function to get the Country information, had cache and was stable. We thought that it would be better to use an existing plugin than to program again a similar functionality. Sorry if you don’t agree. It would be great if you installed the GeoIP Detection plugin and tried out the country info of this plugin. Best regards from Spain.
