Hello, I am getting the error quoted in the title. I’m guessing it could be some sort of permissions issue, but I wanted confirmation. Any advice? Sorry for the inconvenience. Can you please attach the screenshot of the issue? I didn’t fully get the issue at the moment. Kindly help me to check the issue so that I can help you with it. The plugin is still crawling through the pages, but several are already processed and failed. The page status is failed (failed tab in the admin panel). In the error column there is a “Copy Error” button, which when I click and paste, get the following output: “Could not write into css file”. This leads me to believe it’s some sort of permissions issue. Sorry, I’m not attaching a screenshot – currently unable to upload it. Will add later if necessary. Thank you for sharing the info. Can you please check once is this due to any conflict? Please check once and let us know back the response? So that we will assist you accordingly to resolve your issue. Hi, I am facing the same issue. I have WP Fastest Cache & after installing this plugin & trying to generate critical css, every single one of th 36 pages has a STATUS of FAILED & the Copied eror message is “Could not write into css file”. So it is not working at all. You say above to check if any conflict … but I dont understand what I can check? Any advice? This reply was modified 3 years, 2 months ago by sbiar . Ok. Deactivating the Wp Fastest Cache plugin allowed the pages to be optimised, but it broke the site??? Didnt work at all. @sbiar : Extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused you. As per forum guidelines, Kindly open a new topic on yours. So that we will assist with your case individually there. Ok. My problem. Had to deactivate both the free & pro version of WP Fastest Cache, then all good. Thanks for the offer of help. @sbiar : Kindly reach out by opening a new thread/topic if you face any issues or have any queries further. So that we will assist you to fix them.
