I’ve been using the plugin for over year, it’s very good and user friendly! At some point there was a constant message to upgrade, but that was fixed. This topic was modified 1 year ago by Mwale Kalenga . Hi, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about my JWT Authentication plugin. I appreciate hearing from users, as it helps me continually improve my offerings. I wanted to respectfully clarify that the information in your review isn’t accurate. The plugin only displays an upgrade notice using WordPress’s standard admin notice system, which is completely dismissible with a single click, as permitted by the WordPress.org plugin guidelines. Additionally, it only adds a single link in the admin menu, following the same approach used by many freemium plugins in the repository. I take WordPress.org guidelines very seriously and have designed the plugin to be respectful of the user experience while still letting users know about premium features that might benefit their projects. Given this clarification, I would genuinely appreciate if you might consider revising your review. As an independent developer, I work hard to provide a valuable free tool to the WordPress community while maintaining a sustainable development model. If you’re experiencing any actual issues with the plugin or have suggestions for improvements, I’d be more than happy to address them directly. Please feel free to reach out through my support channels. Thank you for your understanding! Warm regards, Enrique After further investigation, we’ve identified and fixed the issue that was causing it to stick around. It came down to a small coding error that prevented the ‘show only once’ setting from working properly. Everything should be working normally now, so you can dismiss messages as expected. Really appreciate you flagging this! Thank you for correcting the UI issue! I appreciate it. The pro announcement was good, but having it there all the time was problematic. Wishing you and the pro version a lot of success.
