I would like to permanently convert my entire site from Spanish to English. I do not want a multilingual option or language switcher. Instead, I want the site to exist only in English . I want English to display in website.com not website.com/en Please let me know the best way to achieve this. Regards Hi, Apologies for the misunderstanding earlier. Our plugin is designed to translate plugin- and theme-related content only . It does not support full site translation . If you want your website to exist only in English and display as website.com (not website.com/en), the best approach is to: Set your WordPress Site Language to English from Settings → General → Site Language Once the site language is set to English, your primary domain ( website.com ) will display English content by default. Thanks & Regards, Can you kindly point me to a tool that supports full site translation ? Hi @caxia , Yes, you can translate your entire website using the Linguator – Multilingual AI Translation plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/linguator-multilingual-ai-translation/ The plugin supports full site translation, including pages and all website content. If you face any issues while using this plugin, please let us know. We’ll be happy to help. Thanks & Regards, This reply was modified 5 months ago by Jyoti Bhandari . Hello @jyoti197 Do I have to combine Linguator together with LocoAI? So, I currently have a Spanish website at website.es, which has been active for years and performs extremely well. It already has strong history, authority, and rankings, so I do not want to modify it in any way. I am now expanding internationally, so I have duplicated the site to website.com, where I will first translate everything to English and then make it multilingual afterwards. Here is the structure I want to achieve: website.es will remain the dedicated Spanish site (unchanged). website.com will become the main international site in English. I will then add other languages like /fr, /de, etc later When someone selects Spanish (ES) on website.com, the language switcher should NOT load /es. Instead, it should redirect users to: website.es I want to avoid having two Spanish versions of the website, as this would create duplicate content and negatively impact SEO. So the first step is to totally translate to English such that English will live on website.com not website.com/en Could you kindly guide me on how to do it? Hello @caxia , Linguator and Loco AI are completely different tools and do not need to be used together . Linguator is used to create and manage a multilingual website (language URLs, switcher, etc.). Loco AI is only used to automatically translate theme or plugin strings when working with the Loco Translate plugin. It does not handle multilingual site structure or language switching. If you have any questions specifically related to Linguator , or need help with its setup, please feel free to contact us through our support platform: 👉 https://my.coolplugins.net/account/support-tickets/ We’ll be happy to assist you further there.
