The Category Select field works fine with WordPress 5.6.2 but If you use WordPress 5.7 the “Select Category Checkboxes” are not shown. I’m also seeing this issue. I hadn’t used the plugin before until 5.7 and didn’t even realise that there were category select boxes. Same problem. Still using it but I will need to use categories, anyone got the solution? I am seeing this issue as well. Please fix this issue so that the user can only add the categories they want to display. This is an important feature for some users. For example, we maintain a site where we want to have Press Releases category displayed on the homepage, but only community related categories displayed on the inner pages. Love the plugin, just need to have the categories work again. Keep up the good work!

I am seeing this issue as well. Please fix this issue so that the user can only add the categories they want to display. This is an important feature for some users. For example, we maintain a site where we want to have Press Releases category displayed on the homepage, but only community related categories displayed on the inner pages. Love the plugin, just need to have the categories work again. Keep up the good work!
