supportI have categories to exclude radio button selected and entered one id category and it still deletes all posts in that category! I double checked settings and have expire by age 1 day old and use category filters checked. What is going on…any ideas?? https://wordpress.org/plugins/tieexpire-automated-post-expiry/
Apologies for the delay: WP doesn’t notify of support requests. Without seeing the actual site/implementation, I can only speculate. The first thing that springs to mind is to ask if you have also marked the “Use category filters” checkbox in the box where you’ve set “Older than 1 day old”. If that box isn’t marked, the filters are ignored.
Side note: Apologies for the delay: WP doesn’t notify of support requests. Sure it does, if you’ve subscribed. Visit your plugin support page here. https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/tieexpire-automated-post-expiry Scroll down to the part where is says the following. RSS link for this plugin’s support threads. Subscribe to Emails for this Plugin And click those links. Personally I find the RSS works best as some of these emails will end up in your spam folder.
Already subscribed to all of mine and I never get any notifications, not in spam or anywhere, until I individually mark the “notify me of follow-up posts” thing. Edit: OK, so I checked them and they were all unsubbed. Odd, but it explains why I wasn’t getting emails!
