supportI set up a contact form, selected Captcha and entered the site key and secret keys, but I receive this error at the bottom of the front end where the CAPTCHA appears. “ERROR for site owner: Invalid site key” I have tried this several times, but can’t figure out what I’m missing. I couldn’t find the answer on this forum, but I Googled it and found this: https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/faq My Google Admin confirms that I’m using reCAPTCHA v2. Do I need to specify that in Pirate Forms settings? If so, where/how do I do that? The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link]
Hey There, Please try to generate new keys and then use them. Make sure that the keys are not having any extra space at the end. Let us know how it goes.
Thanks for your reply. I tried several times to replace with new keys only to receive the same error message. I am certain there were no additional spaces before or after the key – I’ve made that mistake in the past.
So that we can see the admin to find the problem. No, really please don’t. You can ask for screenshots via many different sites such as imgur.com. I’ve redacted vishakha’s as it sounds like she’s requesting admin access and that would be very bad.

Hi I found out that i couldn’t login to my website dashboard as the recaptcha show this error message on the dashboard login page “ERROR for site owner: Invalid site key”. When i tried to login using my own ID and PW, it doesn’t let me go through as I couldn’t indicate response for recaptcha. Pls help to resolve this so I can login into my dashboard to do watever needed!
I also can’t find a contact page on this site to directly submit my request and screenshot of my website login.

I’m having this same issue with WP Foro. Each time a new user tries to register this error is visible. I’ve created a new keys and entered, but nothing changes. Can someone help me sort out why this continues to happen.
I ran into this issue, and found that it was because I didn’t fill out the rest of the form containing the site name and domain name/URL etc. then press the register button. More or less, this error means you used the keys, but didn’t submit the form to google so it can actually be used; scroll down and fill out the form and click Register.
I got the same error. What fixed it for me is not to choose reCAPTCHA v3, but v2 instead. This worked fine. I guess contactform7 is not yet compatible with v3.

i have the same issue with V3 but on firefox i get the error massage and on chrome its working fine
No luck with V2 or V2, even if I use a V2 plugin.

I had this happen this morning for one site Can’t use the login page to fix Backup database first in case this makes things worse. What I did to fix Goto the database, to the table wp_options, and look for an entry called ‘aio_wp_security_configs’ Edit that entry Look for something like this text and delete just that text “aiowps_recaptcha_site_key”;s:40:”key_text_goes_here”;s:27:”aiowps_recaptcha_secret_key”;s:40:”key_text_goes_here”;s:24: That should remove the recaptcha from your WP install, allowing you to log in.
Wow I fixed the original problem by simply removing http:// from the Domain field in the Google reCaptcha configuration! Like magic!
In the domain settings be sure to take out the http or http and www, just use the mysite.com etc. That worked for me other than

I fixed it by: 1. logging into Google reacptcha 2. going to settings. 3. in the Domains field, I had written in: https://www.idsdispatch.com so I added a second domain into my “domians” like this http://www.idsdispatch.com I then clicked save at the bottom of the page. Now it works. I hope that helps everyone. Google needs to mask the “domains” field to ensure people enter it in correctly.
