When I enter a valid Google address into the Contact Information section and click the Retrieve Map Coordinates link, I get an error message that says, “Request denied.” No map coordinates are set, but the map feature still works. Please advise. This topic was modified 1 year, 8 months ago by idealynx . Hi ynx, The request denied would normally only appear if the Google Maps API key in the basic settings of our plugin is blank, invalid or not configured correctly. Could you double-check that this is not the case and see if it makes a difference? More information setting that up can be found here: https://doc.fivestarplugins.com/plugins/business-profile/user/settings/google-maps-api-key @jaysupport , I think I know the problem. I have the Google Maps API restricted to my website domain, which includes a wildcard. What URL do I have to add to the API to pull the coordinates from Google or wherever your plugin is linking? Thanks! It should just be the URL of your site/domain. The map feature just embeds a Google Maps iframe directly referencing maps.google.com.
