I’ve tried to delete the plugin, but when I deactivate it and then click delete. It tells me I can’t delete the plugin because it is active on the main site. Maybe are you using a multisite which may cause this? Thank you Nick for your reply. No, I’m not using a multisite network for my business website. However, I finally figured out what I needed to do in order to remove the invisible widget. I had to activate a cache plugin and clear the cache. Thank you for your question Kevin. Usually, our plugin can be deactivated like any other plugin. Maybe are you using a multisite which may cause this?
