supportI use IQ Block successfully on a number of sites, it is fantastic. I tried to install it on a site today and as soon as I activate it, it blocks me and redirects me to Google.com. This is how I usually setup the plugin – redirect other countries to Google. I regain access by deleting the plugin through Cpanel. How can I regain control of the plugin so I can go in and change the settings to whitelist my IP? I cannot see any IQBlock tables in the database which I can edit?
Hi, You can edit the blockcountry_blockbackend option in the wp_options (or a different name if you choose a different prefix) option to off
It happened to me once. I just changed the name of the plugin folder to something else, like /folder-old and you should be able to re-install and set up not blocking logged in users or adding your IP to the allowed list.
@pascal Many thanks for pointing out which table had the iqblock settings. I was able to go in and whitelist my IP directly in myphpadmin. Thanks.
