supportUnder EventOn Lite Settings/Time Settings, I am unable to change the Default Event Timezone from the dropdown menu. The dropdown opens and shows a search box, but I cannot select any timezone other than the current one — (GMT+00:00) Universal Time UTC. No matter what I type or click, the timezone does not update. Please advise.
Hello, Thank you for your messages! I am going to escalate this ticket to development to help in here. Please allow us some time to address this, and we truly appreciate your patience. Thank you for being a valued EventON customer!
Thank you. I look forward to hearing possible solutions. Is there any possible work arounds in the mean time such as the plugin taking the default timezone from the wordpress settings? I also do see the same issue for creating individual events as well – I can’t change the timezone. This reply was modified 6 days, 10 hours ago by chantlerftw .
Could you update EventON Lite to 2.5.5? The latest version will fix the issue.
I am experiencing the same issue on EventOn full on a client’s site, and the issue also exists when creating a new event (can only select GMT 0:00) or editing an existing event (again, can only select GMT0). Also, the search field when attempting to select a default timezone displays the AI modal, and then blanks out, unable to populate with any actual location to set a time zone. When attempting to update from within WordPress admin, an error is shown: An error occurred while updating EventON: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature I had to manually install from the client’s downloaded zip file to get up to a 5-era version as he was on 4.8.2. He’s on LiquidWeb hosting, if that helps. Thanks!
Hello @kellkheraptis , Whats’s the current version of EventON on customer’s website? 5.0.10?
They have version 5.0.6 currently. It was throwing the same error when it was version 4.8.2 as well.
@kellkheraptis , since you own a full version of the plugin, could you create a new ticket on our Helpdesk?
Timezone issue in EventON Lite is resolved in new version 2.5.5 For EventON Full version please re-download eventON 5.0.10 and that will resolve it.
