supportthe plugin injects wp-content/uploads/rc_geositemap.xml which doesn’t exit (returns 404). the author committed to fixing this issue more than a year ago, but it’s still there. this non-existing sitemap appears in sitemap_index.xml (created by yoast SEO, but the problem comes from this plugin, not yoast’s one). google webmaster tools reports this as a broken xml. https://wordpress.org/plugins/rich-contact-widget/
So what would it take to fix this? According to reports people simply uninstall your plugin to fix this bug: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/geo-sitemap-pulling-from-subdirectory Can you please tell whether you’re actually planning to fix this, or should I like everybody else go and find a better alternative? Thank you.
I have this same problem, and do not see the issue has been resolved. Is this something that is planned to be fixed, or has anyone found a solution? Thanks, Jake
