supportAfter I tried to downgrade to 5.0 (listed as a valid version here ), I can no longer edit my site, because as soon as I login I am taken to a page that is just completely white, with no editing ability. Nothing happened after I changed from 5.5 to 5.0, until I clicked down/upgrade core, at which point my backend portal broke. Please help! Michael
The “white screen of death” may be due to an incompatible plugin. You can disable other plugins by renaming the folders via FTP. BTW: You should better use 5.0.10. There are some security holes in 5.0.
Ooof, I do not know how to rename folders with FTP…I am very much a beginner. Googling is always an option, but I feel I might be getting myself deeper down the rabbit hole. Is there a simpler way to just disable the actual WP Downgrade plugin so I can cut my losses here? Sorry for my inexperience.
